Details
The kit is designed for users wishing to make EMoRo an exploration robot. The robot is equipped with IR radar, which can be used to measure distance and detect objects surrounding it. Users can control the IR Radar robot using the EMoRo RC application or with a composed program. Depending on user level it can be programmed with a flowchart in FlowDraw program or writing code in FreeBasic, Bascom-AVR or AVR C. Programming in Bascom-AVR or AVR C users can build their autonomous robot.
Main controller unit of EMoRo IR Radar is based on the EMoRo Bluetooth controller.

The EMoRo Bluetooth controller supports Bluetooth communication with the computer which transmits the commands from the flowchart programming in FlowDraw, as well as the commands from the FreeBasic to the controller. This controller is ideal for primary and high school pupils because of the simplicity of the programming tools which are designed for this age group. The EMoRo Bluetooth controller provides a secure wireless communication with PC, and it is perfect for the autonomous robot drive as it provides feedback on the computer and sends additional instructions to the robot.
The controller supports the use of more advanced programming languages - Basic (Bascom-AVR), C (AVR Studio) and assembly code, with which the controller becomes completely autonomous and independent of the computer. The ISP programmer Inovatic STK500 which is a part of EMoRo Alka Knight set or another AVR ISP programmer is necessary for programming the microcontroller module. Advance usage of controller is care free because the controller is equipped with automatic resettable fuses and reverse polarity protection for safe start of using it.
